OUR FIRST FEVER! Luke got his first fever this weekend. At one point it got up to 102.6. We gave him Tylenol and then Motrin. His fever is gone , but now he has a runny nose and a cough that sounds terrible. Jim brought him to the doctor Saturday morning ( all by himself so I could go to a class at Church) and the doctor just told us to suction him and use saline drops. Luke LOVES to be suctioned- just kidding- it's the most traumatizing thing EVER!!! Needless to say I'm only doing it if it's absolutely necessary. He is not sleeping great because of the cough and he has been very clingy. He just does not feel well. Poor Baby! It is the worst to see your kid sick- even if it's just a little cold.

Poor Baby!
Chase is not a big fan of the suctioner either. When ever I have to do it, I make these silly noises, oohh & ahhh and say, "Oh my gooness, that was a good one" and he usually starts to giggle a little bit. Anything to make the process easier!
Get Better soon Luke.
Mine have to be held down by the both of us to sunction them now!!!

Yuck! Hope Luke gets to feeling better soon.
Mine refer to it as "THE BOOGER SUCKER"...and usually run from it if given the chance. When the girls see it they start screaming, "NO BOOGER SUCKER, NO BOOGER SUCKER!!!"
Get better soon, Luke!!! Hopefully we'll see you guys on friday!!
